Why I Love Using Boom Cards in Speech Therapy

I’m Michelle Coyle, MS, CCC-SLP, an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist who has worked with children since 2000. I have spent more than 25 years creating therapy materials for the students on my caseload, and Coyle’s Communication grew out of those materials.
I design my decks with real therapy in mind: What will keep my students engaged? What will help them understand the skill? What visual support would make this easier? Can I use this with different students and ability levels? And, maybe most importantly on a busy school day — can I pull it up and actually use it quickly?
